DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI
A private transfer will be waiting at Hanoi Airport to take your family to a hotel located in the heart of this buzzing metropolis.
DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR
Explore this exhilarating, chaotic city from the safety and comfort of an electric cart. The tour of Hanoi will take you through Hanoi’s Old Quarter where you will pass hundreds of street food vendors, heaving local markets, and unique architecture reflecting the old and new Vietnam. The day concludes with a highly entertaining water puppet theater show.
DAY 3: HA LONG BAY CRUISE & HANOI
The trip to Ha Long Bay will be one of the many highlights of your Vietnam family holiday. It will be difficult to wipe the smiles from your faces as the wondrous landscape of 100-metre-high limestone karsts jutting from emerald green waters unfolds before your eyes. The two-day cruise in Ha Long Bay includes family friendly activities such as kayaking, cave visits, floating villages and swimming. All meals are provided on the cruise liner.
DAY 4: FREE DAY IN HANOI
Spend the day passionately discussing the unforgettable Ha Long Bay experience, before visiting markets, eating street food, and immersing yourself in the unique Hanoian culture.
DAY 5: TRAVEL TO HOI AN
A short flight takes you to the historic World Heritage town of Hoi An. The streets of this enchanting, riverside town are filled with tailors, galleries, funky shops, restaurants and historic landmarks. Old Town Hoi An is a perfect area for families to explore, as the streets are limited to pedestrians and bicycles. For beach-loving families, the white-sands and clear waters of An Bang Beach are only 5km from the centre of Hoi An.
DAY 6: HOI AN FREE DAY
A custom-made tour to Vietnam means we find out about your family, their interests and passions, before they arrive in the country. You can book a cooking class, bicycle tour, history tours of the My Son Ruins and Marble Mountain, and a day of snorkeling at Cham Island. Hoi An is also the tailoring capital of the world. DAY 7: HOI AN FREE DAY
A free day to relax in town or at the beach or book one of the many optional tours that we can include.

DAY 9: TRAVEL TO NHA TRANG
Fly to Nha Trang, possibly with extra luggage after splurging on shopping in Hoi An, for a day of relaxing on the gorgeous beaches. Nha Trang is famous for its fresh seafood, so loosen those belt buckles and tuck into prawns, lobster, and oysters.
DAY 10: FREE DAY IN NHA TRANG
Nha Trang offers a number of family friendly activities besides swimming at the beach. Have some fun and take a boat trip to the nearby islands for a day of snorkeling or head to Vinpearl Land amusement park, a favorite activity among kids and adults alike.
DAY 11: FREE DAY IN NHA TRANG
A final free day to enjoy the beach activities and amusement park.
DAY 12: TRAVEL TO SAIGON
After a few days of relaxation by the beach in Nha Trang it’s time to head to the bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). This city is a feast for all the senses. Take the family shopping at the famous Ben Thanh Market, where haggling is encouraged for bargain hunters. For a harrowing account of the Vietnam War, visit the War Remnants Museum. The photos and videos in the museum are extremely graphic, so we do not recommend taking young children.
DAY 13: VISIT CU CHI TUNNELS
Just 1.5 hours from Ho Chi Minh City are the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network that typifies the guerrilla style of combat key to Vietnam winning the war. This half-day tour is highly educational and there is an opportunity to crawl through a short stretch of tunnel.
DAY 14: DEPARTURE SAIGON
