The school is focused on providing a holistic, student-centered education that is academically rigorous, while at the same time nurturing individual talents, creativity, as well as promoting social justice, advocacy and entrepreneurship.

The International Program at HAIS will become a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program as of 1 March, 2019. The PYP offers a concept-based, transdisciplinary framework which encourages students to have a voice in their own education and provides many opportunities to exercise choice and agency. Students are given the choice to learn Vietnamese or Mandarin, as well as participate in our mother tongue program. This inquiry-based learning approach doesn’t simply give children knowledge; it builds understanding and provides the skills for students to be successful in our ever-changing world.

HAIS also offers a Bilingual Program in primary school, which enables students to take the core subjects in Vietnamese, which are approved by the Ministry of Education and Training, as well as single subjects in English including Art, Music, Physical Education and Science. Additionally, they receive 5 lessons of English as an Additional Language per week. This approach creates the opportunity for all our students to interact and engage with one another as the Bilingual and International students participate in these classes together.

In Secondary school we are expanding to teach Grades 9 and 10 (IGCSE) in the 2019-2020 academic year. Students will have a wide variety of subjects to choose from including Sciences, Math, Language and Literature, Global Perspectives and Art and Design. This well-rounded selection of subjects allows students to express themselves through multiple literacies and prepare them for success in university.

HAIS offers separate, newly-equipped facilities for preschool, primary, and secondary, featuring a multilingual library, indoor and outdoor sporting facilities, music and art studios, a dance studio, nurse’s room, an auditorium, and 500 square meters of garden. The grounds of the campus were designed to give students a place where they can learn in a safe, spacious and healthy environment.

For more information, or to book a tour of the school, please visit https://hais.edu.vn/, or call on +84 (0)235 651 8518. We would love to show you our campus and share our vision with you.

    • Hi Favour,

We are not Hoi An International School. We are Hoi An Now, a website where you read about the school. You need to go to the school’s website to make your enquiry.Try hais.edu.vn or call this number: +84 (0)235 651 8518. I understand their website may be down for maintenance for a few days.
