Hi there! I am from South Africa and hoping to extend my visit to Vietnam for longer than anticipated. But i need a refill on my prescription for bipolar and PTSD i am suffering. Where and how will i be able to do this here in Hoi An?
I am currently taking:
– EFFEXOR Venlafaxine HCI, 150 mg at night
– LAMICTAL Lamotrigine , 200 mg at night
– DEPRAM Escitalopram Oxalate, 20 mg in the morning
I would really appreciate any help you can offer me!
Thank you so much!!!
Hi Ingeborg,
To make sure you get exactly what you need we recommend you get a car to Da Nang and see Family Medical Practice and get the doctors there to renew your prescription. You may wish to go to a pharmacy in Da Nang rather than have Family Medical Practice dispense the drugs because it will be cheaper but if you get the drugs from them you’ll know you’ve got the right thing. Another option is VinMec Hospital. Both have good English.
As for pharmacies this one in Da Nang is a good option –
