Ganesh’s delicious dishes consistently satiate both Hoi An’s tourist and expat populations and local chefs are often spotted sampling its fine offerings. With an excellent collection of northern and southern Indian dishes it is reasonably priced. Lamb dishes linger at the most expensive end of the range (but are still not over 160,000VND).
Few culinary pleasures surpass that of a decent Indian Thali set and a cold beer. A favorite is the Non-Vegetarian Set which for 200,000 VND is great value – in terms of quality, portion size and selection. You can’t do better than this in any other Indian restaurant in Vietnam.
Other menu highlights are the Ganesh House Special, a Northern Indian chicken curry with cashews and egg. Also, the Prawn Mango Curry is a popular choice – the green mango marrying fantastically with the fresh shrimp.
This fine Indian restaurant is also one of Hoi An’s most popular home delivery options. Check out the menu here. As it includes most of the regular menu items it also gives you a great idea of the full range on offer and current prices inside the restaurant itself.
Part of a chain of Indian restaurants throughout Vietnam that share the same approach and name, Ganesh Hoi An is not detrimentally affected by that as is sometimes the case. The quality is high throughout the entire group and, simply put, Ganesh is one of Hoi An’s leading restaurants.
