3 Dragons Sports Bar & Restaurant / Tap House
3 Dragons Sports Bar & Restaurant opened on the 1st day of the Rugby World Cup on the 9th of September, 2011. Many things have changed in town for Hoi An’s original sports bar since then, but its passion for sports, drinks and food has stayed the same.

Hoi An has a hundred bars, but just a few that offer really great live music. Be it Vietnamese ballads, contemporary covers or old school rock classics, Hoi An has something to delight the ears of most music lovers. As ever, we took it upon ourselves to check out what was on offer and bring it to you in the form of a handy Quick Guide or Travel Guide…
Hoi An Now Travel Guide to Cocktails and Happy Hours
Hoi An is bursting with places to sit back and relax while you wet your whistle many offering generous happy hours. Prices range from shockingly cheap (3,000 vnd fresh beer!) to on par with what one might pay at home. Since prices are usually low, most visitors can afford to be discerning, and discerning you must be. Throughout my quest to find the best of the ‘Happy Hours’ in Hoi An I was met with the bitter taste of cheap, locally-distilled alcohol.

The Happy Buffalo
Free and easy, bright and breezy, and a welcome addition to the somewhat desolate coastal end of Cua Dai road, The Happy Buffalo is fast becoming a firm favorite with tourists and ex-pats alike. The cocktails are delicious, the beer is cold, the food is tasty, and the prices are reasonable – what’s not to like?

Before and Now attempts to be an all-in-one venue for ‘everyman’ with coffee, cake, beer, cocktails, pizza and large pull-down sport screen.

Once Upon A Time Dive Bar was a dedicated live music venue with singers, duos and occasionally even small bands every night of the week from 8.30pm.
La Plage $$
The key note about La Plage is that it’s a bar first and a restaurant second. One of Hoi An’s most convivial spots, it’s the sort of place where patrons sit at the bar and chew the fat rather than scatter to distant tables.
Hoi An Sports Bar $$
Renowned as the cheapest and most centrally-located multiple-screen sports bar in Hoi An, Hoi An Sports Bar is embraced by dedicated sport fans, tourists and lots of locals who meet to chew the fat.
