What Hotel in Hoi An?

Ever found yourself combing through copious booking sites looking for a hotel and just wishing someone who knew the area would choose it for you?  Well, hey what, you’re in luck because that’s just what we’re here to do in…

 Select Hotels Hoi An

As people who have lived in Hoi An for years we know what suits different people with different needs in our town.  All the Hoi An Hotels listed are ones we have stayed in or ones that have been recommended by Hoi An locals – and that’s why there’s only a few! This section highlights our recommendations over $US100!

So What’s the Best Location for Me?

Firstly, whichever location you choose will not be far from anywhere.  Whether you choose to be close to the beach, within walking distance to the Old Town or away from it all and ‘Om-ing’ it in the rice paddies, a taxi ride will cost you no more than 80,000 – 100,000vnd to any major location.

I want to be within walking distance of the things I like!

Okay: for history and shopping close to the Old Town is best.  More of a lounge-around person or one with kids: the beach.  As for the party goers then An Hoi with its buckets of cocktails and late-night bars is where it happens but make sure you intermingle it with several $US3 cab fares to An Bang because the music scene there is not to be missed!  For those who like the idea of a quiet retreat then in-between the beach and Old Town, near the rice paddies or on the river, is best.

Note:  As most of Cua Dai Beach has now been significantly eroded, the major beach destination has become An Bang. However, the Cua Dai resorts listed still have beautiful, uncrowded beach areas nearby.
